Child and Adolescent Therapy

Supporting children, teens, and the families who care for them

Childhood and adolescence can bring big emotions, behavioral challenges, and periods of transition. Therapy offers a supportive space where children and teens can express themselves, build skills, and feel understood.

Common areas of support:

  • Anxiety, excessive worry or school related stress

  • Behavioral and emotional regulation difficulties

  • Social struggles or peer relationships

  • Self-esteem and identity development

  • Life transitions (moves, school changes, family shifts)

Approach:
Therapy is tailored to each child’s developmental stage. With younger children, sessions may include play-based interventions and creative expression. With older children and teens, we focus on insight, coping skills, and strengthening communication and relationships.

Caregiver involvement is an important part of the process, with ongoing collaboration and support throughout the therapeutic journey.

What to expect:
We begin with a caregiver intake session, followed by a combination of child/teen sessions and parent check-ins as needed.
